IgLM
Antibody-specific generative language model - academic licence only.
Gray Lab, Johns Hopkins University
What it does
Generates and infills antibody sequences conditioned on species and chain type. Input: a partial antibody sequence with a span to fill, plus species/chain tokens; output: completed sequences with likelihoods, used for library generation and for scoring how natural a designed CDR looks.
Commercial use
Not for commercial useLicence as writtenJHU Academic Software License Agreement
LICENSE.md is the JHU Academic Software License Agreement, effective only between JHU and 'a non-profit academic or non-profit research institution'. Same pattern as IgFold from the same lab. A company needs a separate agreement with JHU.
The licence limits use to non-commercial purposes; a company needs a separate agreement.
Is commercial use free of charge?
No commercial option at any priceNo fee for academics; no published commercial price. Commercial use would require negotiating with JHU's technology transfer office.
Price and rights are separate: this panel is about money, the panel above is about permission.
When to use it
Academic antibody library generation and naturalness scoring. For commercial work, AbLang2 (BSD-3) and IgBert/IgT5 (MIT) cover the same ground.
